How a similarity check works
In short: you send your draft, we return a similarity report and a short review that separates real problems from harmless matches.

- We run the check and send you the report.
- We mark each significant match: properly cited, needs quotation marks, needs a citation, or too close a paraphrase.
- You revise. We can re-check the revised draft.
Reading a Turnitin report
A similarity percentage is not a plagiarism score. It shows how much of your text matches other sources. Matches on reference lists, common phrases, methodology wording and correctly quoted text are normal. What matters is where the matches are and whether each one is cited. What similarity percentage is acceptable?
There is no national rule in Malaysia. Many faculties set limits for theses and FYP reports, often with exclusions for quotes, the bibliography or small matches. Check your own faculty or graduate school guide, and ask your supervisor which settings they use.
AI writing indicators
